Meet Prof. Van Dau, an enthusiastic academic and outstanding researcher at Griffith University. His research is focused on thermofluidics, micro-mechatronics, and electrofluidodynamics. He has published over 200 journal papers, including Physics Reports (IF>27),ย Nature Communications (IF>15), Science Advances (IF>13), Nano Energy (IF>15), etc. His research has led to a new generation of devices for environmental health and bioapplications.ย

Introducing Prof. Dzung Dao, a passionate teacher and an inspirational mentor at Griffith University. His research is focused on advanced sensing effects of nanostructure & semiconductor materials for smart cities and harsh environments. He was listed in the world's top 2% most cited scientist in Applied Physics (Stanford Ranking 2023), and he is also ranked as the top 1% researcher worldwide (SciVal Topic of Sensors 2023). In addition to his academic work, Prof. Dao has made significant contributions to industry. He has been instrumental in developing new MEMS sensors and actuators and wireless sensor network/IoT.ย
Dr. Nguyen Tien Cuong

Introduce Dr. Nguyen Tien Cuong, my undergraduate research supervisor at Vietnam National University, Hanoi. His research spans fluid dynamics and its applications to natural and engineered systems, with particular interests in river and flood dynamics, natural-hazard prediction and mitigation, and automotive aerodynamics for enhanced energy efficiency. He serves as Secretary General of the Vietnam Association for Fluid Mechanics and has also led numerous major research projects as Principal Investigator, particularly in the areas of flood control, disaster risk reduction, and natural-hazard mitigation in Vietnam.
